Nelms Street Park is 1.52 acres located on the eastern side of Brookland at 103 Nelms Street. The pavilion has tables and a bench for families to enjoy a picnic lunch. There are also a large playground structure and swings, with bench seating around the perimeter, along with a half basketball court.
There is a 650’ (.123 mile) walking trail along the boundary for residents to enjoy.
This park project was made possible with a matching grant by the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Grant and Trust Fund through a partnership between the City of Brookland and the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism and a portion of Arkansas’s Real Estate Transfer Tax.
