Sanitation Rate Changes

Effective April 25, 2023, sanitation rates will increase $2.00 per month.  Residential rate will be $16.00 per month.


Trash Route Changes

Effective April 1, 2023  Dedman's Sanitation will add a Friday route to their weekly pickup

Job Opportunity

City of Brookland is accepting applications for a City Engineer. Full-time or part-time position would be considered.
The City Engineer completes a variety of complex and professional engineering work for water, sewer, street, environmental and other projects. Serves as the City's Stormwater Inspector, who is responsible for working with developers and contractors to ensure compliance with Stormwater regulations.

Holiday Closure

Brookland City offices will be closed Friday, April 7 in observance of Good Friday Holiday.

Dedman's Sanitation will run their normal trash schedule. 

Brookland Utilities customers wishing to make payments during this time are encouraged to use one of the following options.

  1. Leave payment in drop box @ drive through window.
  2. Pay online at cityofbrookland.com
  3. Pay by phone (844)293-9814

Our community has such a giving spirit! ❤️️ $8,994.24 was raised on 2/10/23 at the Brookland Roadblock for the 25th Annual Have A Heart Wish-a-thon! Thanks to all the volunteers who braved the cold, windy weather to stand out and collect donations! This was our best year ever and we collected enough money to grant a wish! Thanks to all of Northeast Arkansas for your generosity!


Brookland Sportsplex Earthwork Package Phase 1 Bid Update---

On February 7, 2023, bids were opened for the Sportsplex earthwork package phase 1. Murphy Brothers Construction, 
LLC was the lowest bidder at $786,260.00. The bid was approved at the February 13, 2023 city council meeting.

The following is a list of bids received:
Keith Hammett - $950,373.00
Meadows - $1,218,252.00
Shannon Kee - $889,271.00
Hessling Construction - $977,463.78
Murphy Brothers - $786,260.00
